So, not many of you know but the other day I had one of the most traumatic experiences of my life...my VHS copy of National Lampoons Christmas Vacation stopped working. Now I watch this movie like crazy...its one of the funniest movies. I hunted for a copy @ Best Buy and HMV. They were all out. When I went into HMV...I asked the guy if they had it...he said yes. I got excited...he walked me over to where it was and....its all out. He goes to me...it can't be that popular...I felt like putting a paper bag over his head and punching him in the face. Obviously he has not seen this movie. So last night after work...I went into Blockbuster. I figured they would have it. I walk in...theres 1 copy left, I got the DVD this time. I snag it...run to the till and buy it. I get home and show Rosanna my winnings. Deep down I think she likes the movie but I'm not sure. I put it in last night and watch it. Now I can calm down. I've seen a string of good movies lately...I like the old school movies. I watched Dirty Dancing on the weekend...that is one funny movie. Now these movies aren't meant to be funny...but they are. Now all I need to do is put in some Footloose before Christmas and I'm set. " Hey Hey Hey...whats this I see...Its a party...LETS DANCE!!" Kevin Bacon aka. Ren McCormick - Footloose. -> If you've never seen it...let me know and we'll have a Footloose party.
On another note, the other night I was talking to Ed. This morning I picked up my axe and jammed a little...it'll take me some time to get back in the swing of things but the main thing is...I'm playing.

i've never watched dirty dancing from start to finish, just what i've caught on tv, but the funniest part of that movie is how jennifer grey's character is named baby. who names their kid baby?!?!!?
HAHAHAHA....Just the last time I watched it (which was probably sunday), I heard Patrick Swayze introduce Baby as Francis _____, so i think Baby is just a nickname.
I must say, I DO like these old school movies that matt has introduced me to!
All these old school movies make me want to dance but I don't know how to. I mean, I've studied Footloose, so I know those moves inside and out...but really dancing I don't know how to.
Dude.. Christmas Vacation has been on TV every hour, on the hour for the past 2 weeks.
You guys need a Footloose party coz I've never seen it. Or Christmas Vacation.
