The Weekend

So the weekend was alright for me. Yesterday I went to see Talladega Nights with Will Ferrell. That was a pretty funny movie. I particularly liked the part when Will Ferrell drove into the police officer. We saw Phantom of the Opera Sunday afternoon and to be honest I thought it sucked...well it got good in the last 10 minutes or so.
Saturday Rosanna & I went to a wedding of an ex-co-worker of both of ours. It was a nice wedding. The reverend related a life story from the movie Shall We Dance and he kept calling Richard Gere, Michael Gere. It annoyed me a little bit. The reception is where my mind started to get crazy on me...I kept thinking that I hope that I can live long enough to have kids and watch them get married....eventhough, statistically speaking, I am most likely to survive. My treatment is 90% effective. I would feel better if it were 100% but if I play the #'s, I should be ok.
Needless to say that last night I was in quite a bit of pain because I was on the move all weekend.
I read today that Detroit is retiring Yzerman's jersey. This will be something that I will have to tape. I hope that someone puts out a dvd of his career or something...that would be great.
