Welcome to the land where Steve Yzerman, Jan Ullrich, Henrik Larsson & Fredrik Ljungberg are gods!

So this week has been pretty good. On Friday, I got the go-ahead from one of my dr's to get exercising. If I'm in pain, take a few pills. So basically I've been going to the gym and pill popping pain killers....not at an intervention rate. The Doc says I should do what I can to feel better now and take the pills and they will stage an intervention later hahahahha. I admit I feel a lot better since swimming at the gym. I think its more of a mental thing than a physical one. Doc said to check with my family Doc about anti-depressants. I went and talked to my family doc and told him that I'm not depressed...I'm angry - big difference. So I passed on those. Bacon almost got killed by a car when I walked her today....good thing I've got squirrel like reflexes because I stopped her from being run over.

I especially liked the smooth transition of "I'm not depressed, I'm angry" into the near miss with the "Squirrel-Like Reflexes". You know you don't need anti-depressants when you use the term "Squirrel-like reflexes"
omigod, if bacon got run over by a car, my dad would personally hunt down the bastard and kill him with his own hands. you didn't take poppy out for a walk too?
how are the dogs adjusting to a new house?
I think that I'm just a little tired of being poked and jabbed...so when the Dr's see me...I'm not really happy so they think I'm depressed when I'd rather punch them in the face.
For the walk, Poppy was there but at the time she was sitting on the side walk while I was picking up her shit and the whole thing went down with my back turned. The car did a screeching stop. I felt bad afterwards because before I took them on the walk I was scoping out a possible next dog on the internet. hahaha..I just have to convince Rosanna. I would be a cat lady but with dogs if I could...a clean one though hahahha.
What about Lady Madonna?
Good question Kathy. I did some research on that type of dog and apparently they are nuts. You have to chain them to the ground in the backyard because they will jump your fence. Also, they say that those dogs will run off whenever they get a chance and will never come back...sounds like a pretty shitty pet. So, I am going to go with my original big dog choice, the Neapolitan Mastiff...I love those massive dogs.
lady madonna is a breed of dog?
i thought that was a cat lady you knew or something!
a big dog would be awesome to see how bacon tries to boss it around. biting its ankles and everything.
lady madonna is a husky...well a retired sled dog that we could adopt. i was thinking of adopting this dog but read that huskies are crazy work. i like the neapolitan mastiff because its huge and lazy. you should search the dog and look at the pics.
Holy crap that's a huge dog!!! I've seen some ugly older ones, but most were damn cute. The puppies are AWESOME, especially the dark ones with the blue eyes. You GOTTA get one!!!
i think i'm going to wait until one of the current dogs dies. i think that this new dog would be too much to handle right now. puppies are cute...when you look at them, you would never really think they would grow to be so big.
on another note, rosanna and i saw a mastiff puppy at pj's yesterday. it was in that stage between puppy & adult. it looked really uncomfortable in there for the dog...i want to punch the people who puppy milled that dog.
