Oilers.

So the trade deadline is over. I'm happy with the pickup the Oilers got with Samsonov. I'm a Bruins fan and I like him alot. The only problem is he said he does not want to be an Oiler. Well too bad you Russian shit...you have to at least for the rest of this season...and I'm going to enjoy watching him. I have tickets to Thursdays game against Calgary and I'm going to cheer for Samsonov. Knowing MacT, he'll put Samsonov with Laraque...they should put that curly haired fucker back in jail. To have Samsonov most effective, he should be with Ethan Moreau. I also have tickets to Saturdays game against Detroit. I will be decked out in my Steve Yzerman gear for that game. It will most likely be the last time I will see him play as he'll most likely retire after this year...I've followed Yzerman since I was a kid...since around 3 or 4 yrs old. I've met him and I've admitted to him that he was my hero. On another note, I think the team that got the strongest at the trade deadline was Vancouver....theres something about that team that I like...maybe its the amount of Swedes they have.
I was at the Dallas game and its awesome to watch Mike Modano...eventhough I hate that guy with a passion, you don't see a player have that much presence on the ice as him. It seems as if he could do what he wants when he wants.
I've come to realize that I miss hockey alot...playing it that is. Playing on an outdoor rink doesn't cut it. I want to play on a team. I always wonder how far I could have gotten in hockey if I listened to my dad.
