Goddammed bird flu!!!

So today is my second day in a row of being sick. I missed work yesterday because there was no way I could get out of bed. Today I thought I would beable to stick it out...it was going to be a battle but I was pretty sure I could handle it. I arrived at work...my walk to the branch was a little off because my ears were plugged so I must've looked like a drunk stumbling into work. I got into my office and took my jacket off...I was sweating bad. My Manager comes in and goes...how are you feeling? I looked at her and said I feel like shit and I hate this goddammed bird flu. She laughed pretty hard. I wasn't laughing because to be honest I didn't really pay attention to what I said. She told me to go home because I looked horrible. I decided that before I pack up and go home, I would go into everyones office and talk to them a bit to hopefully have my germs leave me and infect them...I know thats a strange way of thinking but thats how I think. I successfully spent about 2-3 minutes in each office talking to everyone. I was breathing heavy and making sure I was breathing in their direction. In my head I was laughing becuase they all looked at me while I was doing this and were thinking nothing of it. On my way out a client saw me and said Matt, you look like shit. I said if I don't stop sweating I'll smell like it too. Again he laughed and I didn't because I had no idea what I was saying...it was like I was not even there. Anyways, I got home ok and put on my comfy clothes and collected myself.

I have to go to work tomorrow because I rescheduled some appts from today to tomorrow. I just hope that the rest of today will be used effectively for rest. I'm still sweating.
