So Friday I had my routine 6 month bone marrow biopsy. Friday night I went to party ( not sure how I lasted as long as I did ) and through conversation someone asked me what happens. I tried to explain it but to be honest, I didn't really know what/how it goes down - I've looked at the equipment they use but never really asked about it or anything because it would probably get me more anxious. So I thought of the next best thing, search youtube and sure enough theres a vid of it..the only difference is I lay on my side ( for whatever reason other than preference of my DR ). Watching it is a little hard because I can feel pretty much everything as I'm watching it. Now I know what every tool is used for and whats happening at each moment. So take a look if you want to see what I do every 6 months.

Today, I watched a replay of the final night of the Westminster Dog Show...its a yearly thing I like to watch. I seriously can watch from start to finish...its something I would mark on my to do list to take in the entire event once in my life.

At any rate, when I was watching today, Poppy went absolutely crazy for this dog named Stump. Who actually won Best in Show. Everytime they showed Stump, Poppy went right up to the t.v. to watch haha.

So my mom gave me, what she said, was a blanket that I used when I was a baby/kid after my main blanket was destroyed. I completely disagree because when the blanket I always slept with was retired, I did not have one after. My best guess is that it was my brothers....so I did what came naturally - I gave it to the dogs! Poppy loves it!!!

Yesterday I almost got run over on Whyte Ave!

I hit the cross walk button and wait to make sure that the first set of cars have stopped before I move. I start walking - no problems. I'm at the mid-way point of the street when a cockmunch driving a sebring decides to try drive by me before I reach his lane. I was about a foot away from his car as he drove by - luckily for me I had bought a can of pepsi when I filled up with gas - I wound up when he I figured out that he wasn't going to stop and when he was almost past me, I threw my pepsi as hard as I could....the pepsi exploded ( I'm sure I dented his car ). So, I'macocksuckersebringdriver gets out and starts coming towards me...I take my jacket off thinking I'm going to have to rumble only to hear police sirens. Mr. Policeman comes our way yelling at us not to move. He walks to me and says " I saw everything, you are free to go!". I pick up my jacket, this dude that saw the whole thing had his window down and said he had my back. I start my way to the dog store to get our dogs' christmas outfits and I yell " good thing the cop came because I would've fucked you up shithead " only to hear the cop laughing after I yelled while he proceeded to write him a ticket. I kept chirping as I walked into the store.

Rumors are that he has inked an endorsement deal with Gatorade to have his own brand named, you guessed it, Tigerade. $100 million/5 yrs....that makes him nearly $1 billion in endorsements alone. To be honest, I never would've thought that a golfer could rake so much money from endorsements....but then again, Crosbyade or Lebronade doesn't have the same ring to it haha.

Random thoughts that I've been having lately.

Michael Vick. We know he's in shit for dogfighting but he recently tested positive for Marijuana and he's being sued by Royal Bank for a loan recall of $2 million. I'd like to think the guy still has money but I'm doubting it which raises the question, how can a guy who makes $10-$15 million/year not have any money?

This raises more questions in my mind, guys like Mike Tyson who once made $99 million/year without endorsements, is bankrupt. How does this happen? I realize we're not dealing with rocket scientists here, but to lose that much money is crazy to me. I don't look at bank statements either but I know if I'm missing $20. I guess it makes me think of the people that I think are rich but probably aren't.

The next thing is that Floyd Landis was recently found guilty of doping, a mere 1.5 yrs after winning. Personally, in a sports world where doping seems to be the norm, it doesn't matter to me. But I feel really sorry for the guy that came in second that year who should be the winner. Now that guy won't have any endorsements because that ship has sailed. If I were him, I would sue the shit out of Floyd.

Brett Favre tied Dan Marino's all time touchdown record last Sunday. I'm happy for him. He's had nothing but shitty seasons for the past few years and he was written off coming into this season. I've been a Packer fan since I was young and I've stuck with him. Its nice to see him do well and the Packers are off to a 3-0 start.

For some reason I've been craving McDonalds burgers and fries. I haven't caved in yet but I feel that I'm about to crack. I know the food is made from "lips & assholes" but its just so tasty - I hate that.

Alright, this is my old hockey teammate from Burlington, ON. Mike Schutte assisted my frist goal in a tournament in Buffalo. I'll never forget the goal and I'll never forget his pass. He's currently playing for Heilbronner Falken in the German Elite League. These are a couple of clips of him...a fight & a goal. If my memory serves me right, he belongs to San Jose Sharks.

I had this big post written and I decided to erase it. I'm just going to keep it simple.

This is Michael Vick - star quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. He's in legal trouble at the moment because he was running an illegal underground dog fighting business. His alleged business partners are set to testify against Vick for allegedly drowning and hanging dogs that didn't perform well. Word on the street is he will be entering a plea deal to spend little or no jail time and just pay a fine.

I guess I hope that if the legal system fails, which it seems to when it involves athletes & celebritites, that the NFL stands its ground. I hope that the NFL fines him millions and at leasts suspends him for an entire year without pay. The right thing to do is to kick him out of the league. Then the pig fucker will come to the CFL where I can go watch him play and yell at him.

I think that David Beckham could turn into a mass murderer and the judge would ask him for his autograph and let him go. The world would still love him.

My beef with Bonds is over. Realistically, everyone is using performance enhancing drugs...I may even start....that way I'll be a Wii champion.

New Home Run king....Barry Bonds hit his 756 HR tonight beating Hank Aaron's long standing record.

I had this major smart ass post written about all types of Barry Bonds shit. I ended up erasing it because it made me laugh too hard that I actually ended up teary eyed. So that means that I would probably come across as crazy to everyone.

HAHAHAHA....I'm watching a press conference of Barry right now and he's talking about Bill Cosby being an inspiration for him? Whoa, I think I'm tired because I'm enjoying this shit too much. I know so much about Barry Bonds that is so wrong and dirty that I find it really funny that he's a "poster boy" of baseball now. Its sort of funny how when someone sets a record, none of the crap matters.

Side note - if anyone actually saw the highlight reele...I'm surprised that the guy who caught the ball wasn't killed in the fight for it...I've never seen anything like that.

I figure its time to do a post about China / Hong Kong trip. Here we go :

This is the entrance to Forbidden City in Beijing. The basic phrases you need to know when visiting Beijing : No, I don't want a " Rolex "...this phrase eventually turns into just a plain simple, No. Other than that...its all good.

This is a picture of a beautiful lady inside the Forbidden City.

These things were on top of most, if not all the buildings we saw in China. The tour guide said they are meant to ward off fire.

This is part of the Summer Palace. In the winter, the Emperor stayed in the Forbidden City and the summer he stayed here because it was apparently cooler, although it was still hot as a bitch.

This is where the opening to the 2008 Olympics will take place. Its not finished yet.

The highlight of Beijing......The Great Wall

Rosanna & I taking a break from climbing The Great Wall....it was a tiring experience but one that had to be done...don't get me wrong, we didn't climb the whole thing!! I left the performance enhancers at home.

This is a Jade shop. These Jade Masters are the ones that create all the jade works of art. The neat thing is that they are all from the same family. Their secrets of jade making is passed on from one generation to another. Pretty cool.

I do not want to sound like a dick but Beijing is lucky they have The Great Wall. Overall its a shitty city. I will refer to it as Shitjing from now on. Before I left Canada, I was given this info regarding the China tour : " Overall its nice. Xi'an & Shanghai are nice, Beijing is a dirty, shitty city...man is it SHITTY "

So far 3000 warriors have been unearthed but its believed that there are 8000.

In Xi'an, we saw this amazing show. This show could travel and make money...serious money. We had a dumpling dinner after the show. I got sick shortly after this dinner....at least thats when I think I got sick.

Normal traffic - yeah I said it...NORMAL. Being a pedestrian fucking sucks in China.

This is a cool shot. I exited one of the Warrior buildings and I stop to take a picture for some Chinese people because they hadn't seen too many white folks and I see this dude upside down out of the corner of my eye. After the photo I posed with some lady with, I took our camera out and took this picture. I figured where else will I see an upside down man like that...so cool.

Rosanna & I on a boat ride around a water town in Shanghai. It was pretty neat. Theres more pics of Shanghai but I was sick for a day so I can't comment on the pics because I don't know what they are about haha.

In this water town, we found a shop where this artist was hand carving some of his art. We bought a souvenir from him and he signed it and posed with Rosanna. He said he liked my tattoos...I'm thinking that he liked them because he's an art guy.

Now in Hong Kong. Phrases to know in Hong Kong - No, I don't want a suit made. Later on you'll find out that a quick wave of the hand will do.

Another highlight of our trip was seeing Panda's up close at Ocean Park. This panda was named An An. We watched it walk down and eat. SO COOL. There were a couple others that were playing in a different area but An An was more fun to watch. I'm pretty sure that it was the first time I'd seen a panda up close. It was worth the gondola ride, the smelly bus ride & the crazy heat of the day to see An An....the only way it could've been better was if Andy Lau was sitting with him hahaha.

Many thanks to Ida for taking us to museums and letting me ask you all sorts of questions about Hong Kong. I learned a lot from you. I'd like to say thanks to all of Rosanna's family for preparing me for the trip and to those to who took us around and all the suggestions of what to see. China/Hong Kong is a trip I will remember. I'm glad I went....even with the LOOOOONNNNNGGGG plane ride.

Side note : We had a pretty cool tour group in China. Rosanna & I had a great time with 2 Oregonites. Actually, we all thought that it would be fun to do another vacation at some point together. We were lucky to have a pretty good tour group.

Draft day

Ahhhh....THE Draft.

Growing up, my father would make us watch at least the first round of the NHL entry draft....back in the day they used to show the entire thing on t.v....not sure if they do that anymore. I remember growing up, being told how to handle myself on draft day haha. I even had my draft year in my head because I knew at what age, I had to really pour it on...what level I had to be playing at and where I should be playing at that said age.

I don't watch any of it now. I did read the highlights of the 1st round. After reading it, it sounds like the Oilers did a typical Oilers draft. They got kids that need further development or need to grow into their bodies....with the exception of a defenceman that sounds like a big guy. But knowing Mac T....that kid won't see any icetime until he plays 1/2 a season in the minors forsure.

I think its about time to rid of Mac T. I'm not an Oilers fan but I'm just tired of that guy.

Long time no blog...this facebook thing has really taken over me.

Today I had a big test at the Cross...the only reason it was big is because I was basing the results to see if I could go on a big summer trip....the news is that I can. IF I keep showing the same results.

The good news is that my PCR Levels are going down. Basically it means the amount of CML cells being produced is reducing, meaning that I'm on my way to being in Molecular Remission - the ultimate goal. So...I hope I don't jinx anything but I'll do my best to keep being healthy.

Well...I thought I would share with everyone my Steve Yzerman retirement memorabilia that I've collected. I now feel that I am content with his retirement.

All of this stuff was purchased off of eBay haha....I love it.

First off...I have the official program from Joe Louis arena, which is limited edition and numbered out of 30,000. Also, a retirement night puck and replica banner with his stats on the back.

AND NOW..... the best Yzerman thing I own......

I've met Steve Yzerman a few times in my life. This was on the night of the first time I met him...I was in Grade 5 haha. Acid wash jeans!!...cool hey?

So...when I first met him...he signed everything I had. He talked to me for about 5-10 minutes about me and my hockey. He let me ask dumb questions. I ended up giving him my hockey jersey and signed it. I told him to hold onto it because I'd be in the NHL with him one day. Whether he actually kept it or not...he told me at that point that it was the best thing he was ever given. I talked to him a few times after that...he remembered me. I remember after I had my "career ending injury" when I was 16...I was on crutches and I told him that I probably wouldn't recover enough to make it. Yzerman told me that hockey isn't everything and to focus on school. So..I'll stop now and I'll stop blogging about him haha. I believe he is the greatest hockey player, on and off the ice.

There is a long story of behind all of this...I knew Brad McCrimmon's Aunt (retired NHL'er played for the Wings at the time)...so she would take me to the games and take me downstairs after.

This week has been a pretty stressful and shitty experience. I was contacted on Monday by my clinical trials nurse. She advised me that my cpk (creatine phosphokinase) levels were dangerously high again. My cpk levels were high last month, which resulted in me having to stop my medication and then restart on a lower dosage. So, I was advised to stop my medication again and that I had an appt with my DR to go over my options. Keep in mind, I was originally told that my drug, Gleevec, was my only treatment option.....so I was stressed and scared to say the least which resulted in about 10 hrs of sleep this week. My appt was for 9:10 AM this morning. We get there and we're told my DR was running an hour late.

At 11 something, my trials nurse comes out and gets Rosanna and I for the appt. We go into the examination room and its small talk. I was given a new set of consent forms to sign for the clinical trial I was on. I'm thinking no biggie.

This is a pic of me sitting back and thinking that this is going to be not as big of a deal as I thought.

BIG MISTAKE. My DR comes in. He sits close to me with my pretty thick file. He goes...your treatment is not working at a level as it should. Your cpk levels are too high, which can cause muscle damage which could lead to heart damage. He said the positive note is that, from the barrage of blood tests I did in January, that I'm basically in Hemostatic remission (the only good news I heard today from him). He tells me that he recommends a new drug for me to try....I mean brand new. So it doesn't even have a name. I would have to go through a number of tests again. Starting with a bone marrow biopsy....NOW.

This is me trying to stay positive while I await the DR to ram the bone marrow biopsy needle in.

Here's a pic of me laying on my back with my legs up to stop the bleeding from where the bone marrow was extracted. I have to lay like this for 15-20 minutes until I stop bleeding. Looks like I'm giving birth or something.

All joking aside, I'm scared all over again. I'll have to do a bunch of ECG tests, another MUGA, huge amounts of vials of blood & chest x-rays. All the heart monitoring scares me as well as the possible liver damage that I was advised of with this new drug.

I feel deflated. Like someone stuck a needle in me and all my positive thoughts and hopes have left me. I had a little "heart to heart" to my new trial nurse so she knows where I'm coming from and I think she gets it. I have to put a brave face on and tackle this as best as I can. I'm grateful that Rosanna took the day to go with me. All in all, we left at 1:40.

The only other good news I had was that I won $1089.90 on Sportselect, which I had to go to the lotto office to get a cheque for.

Kevin Lowe has some serious testicular fortitude and now I have respect for him as a GM. Its no secret that I have never like Ryan Smyth as a player. I admit he's good with the charity stuff but I think he's high on himself. He will never be as good on any other team than he is with the Oilers. I think I might start to cheer for the Oilers now. Back from Hawaii. I'm going to do a post regarding one part of our trip and I'll let Rosanna blog about the rest because she's better at it than me.

Before my lengthy post...I have to point out 3 things that I learned from visiting the USA this past week. 1...Anna Nicole Smith's body and where it is to be buried is really big news. 2...Britney Spears shaving her head is really big news. 3....I now realize why Americans are so patriotic after visiting Pearl Harbor.

Here's my post:

The main thing I was looking forward to was seeing Pearl Harbor. My Grandfather served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII, so this stuff has always interested me.

Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941 :

Navy : 2001 (majority in the sinking of the USS Arizona)
Marines : 109

At a certain part of the memorial you can see oil still leaking to the surface from the sunken USS Arizona. The Veterans call it "the tears of the entombed men". If I recall correctly, there is 1004 men at rest within the USS Arizona. The men could be heard tapping to be rescued for a couple of weeks after the ship had sunk.

This is a picture of the foundation for the no. 3 gun turret of the sunken USS Arizona sitting above the water. From the memorial, you can see the entire length of the battleship underwater.

From the USS Arizona memorial, we toured the USS Missouri, aka The Mighty Mo.

This picture is of the gun turrets on the Mighty Mo. The picture below it is the shell that is shot out of those things. They are about up to my elbow. These gun turrets shot 289 shells during Desert Storm. The turrets in the rear of the ship unloaded 209 during Desert Storm. Mighty Mo is a menacing instrument of war.

During the attack on Pearl Harbor, the USS Missouri was docked and being worked on. This is a cool photo where a Japanese Kamikaze plane crashed into the side of the ship in 1945.

This is the final picture that I will post from Missouri. This is The Surrender Deck. This is where General McArthur and the military leaders of WWII met on September 2, 1945 to witness the signing of the Instrument of Surrender by the Japanese, thus ending the worlds bloodiest war.

Our tour guide was retired Navy, so his first hand knowledge only enriched the experience. He took us to where the sailors would have slept and described what it must've been like to drown in the USS Arizona. Being in those small rooms with only and inch or two of air between the water and the ceiling is something that I cannot even imagine going through.

Now for the biggie....after we left the USS Arizona memorial and before we headed to the Missouri, we shopped a little. We walked by this little old man at a table with toy planes in packages. I bought one and he signed it. You may ask why would I buy a toy, here's the answer:

2nd Lt. Bill Cope, stationed at Hickam Army Air Field, was off duty with his wife on December 7, 1941. When they heard the nearby explosions they looked out and realized it was the Japanese. Bill ran to the Operations Building to report for duty, but there was nothing he could do. The Hickam Field aircraft had been lined up wing-tip to wing-tip to prevent sabotage and the enemy bombers were destroying any hope of getting those aircraft off the ground. The ammunition stores were locked and in the chaos no one could locate the keys. Bill would be forced to wait for his retaliation in later Pacific campaigns. He flew his B-17 at Midway, Guadalcanal and the Berlin Airlift in 1948/49. He flew forty missions in the Guadalcanal combat zone and sank an enemy battleship. 2nd Lt. Bill Cope was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and two air medals for his valor.

The toy was replica of the plane he flew and has his story on the back. He signed it as best he could. He asked me why I wanted a childs toy. I told him that he was a living hero and I was honored to have met him. He told me that he was nothing special and that the Japanese killed most of his friends. He said he merely did what everyone else did and what those who died would've done. It was at this point that I realized why Americans are so patriotic. I admit that I have a hard time saying that I would go into war if my country called upon all willing and able, so the fact that so many gave their lives for a cause of the greater good of the entire country, I'm at a loss for words. I have more respect for my Grandfather and all service men and women.

Today I saw 2 cars driving the wrong way down the Whitemud. Surprise surprise they were both seniors. Now...I'm sure there are some seniors that can drive but for the most part I think seniors shouldn't be driving. I think they should be re-tested every 6 months or something after they turn 70. Or...they could simply use Driving Miss Daisy.

My own Grandmother is a super freak driver and could kill someone at any moment. She just had her licence renewed no problem. I think she should have her licence taken away. Actually...I should go to Saskatchewan and hotwire her car and drive it into a ditch and set it on fire.

So yesterday was the mighty Superbowl XLI. Well...the game started out great..opening kick off was returned for a touchdown. Guess what???..the game went downhill from that. It was drawn out and down right ugly. It was jam packed with fumbles and interceptions.

The good thing was that it was the first Superbowl that whitey wasn't coaching. Tony Dungy became the first black coach to win the Superbowl. I'm happy I watched it.

Ok so I just read that David Beckham is going to sign with the L.A. Galaxy. His new contract is supposed to be the largest in global sport history...reportedly more than $250 million. Now you can argue that he's a great player...even one of the best. But really, when it comes down to it...the guy kicks a fucking ball around!

Its more the soccer club that I have a problem with. I realize they probably stand to make more having him play but $250 million? I also understand that they probably had to offer him something good to have him move to the USA, but I don't think that is needed. TSN is reporting 5 yr/ $250 million. Just Crazy!

So last weekend was my cousin Marty's wedding. I thought I would post a few pics from it. I've never seen my Aunt Verna so happy...she's waited 9 yrs for this to happen. Last night was pretty sad for me...Steve Yzerman had his jersey retired. I have to say, without a biased opinion...that his retirement was probably one of the nicest I've seen.

This is when Steve took the podium and made his speech. After listening to his speech...it just solidified why I like him. "All the personal success I've had is just coincidental, I've played with great hockey players". There is really too much that I could write from what he said but I have it DVR'd if anyone wants to come over and watch it.

So tonight Rose and I saw Rich Vos at the Comic Strip. We've seen Rich Vos the last time he was in Edmonton. He was on Last Comic Standing. I think he is hands down the funniest person that I've seen. After the show, we bought his dvd. $20 well spent, in my opinion. During the show, I was holding back my laughter because I didn't want to be the one person laughing hard at "questionable humor". Now I can laugh as hard as I want in the safety of my house.

This is Bonnie McFarlane...Rich Vos' wife. She was on before him...also very funny. She was also on Last Comic Standing.

So if you get a chance to see Rich Vos...get a ticket, you won't be disappointed. Or you can borrow the dvd.

I'm unsure what I should do people.

I really like tattoos...this is no secret. I have my left arm that I want to get sleeved up. I phoned my tatt guy, who currently lives in B.C. and asked him who I should see in Edmonton. He tells me to see Danny Gordey @ Ink Machine...this is all fine and dandy but the dude is busy as shit. He said he wasn't taking on new clients until January...well I phoned today to book a consultation appt and he tells me he pushed it until June or maybe even 2008 before he takes on new clients. Do I wait or do I find someone else? I know there are other talented artists in the Edmonton area that I don't have to wait over a year for. Do I get a sleeve or do I get a bunch of miscellaneous tatts in the spaces on my left arm? My left arm is all tribal...maybe I should go with more tribal with other things incorporated in it. I know what Rose thinks, I need some other opinions. I know what I'm thinking and I might act on it.

I've decided that at some point I'm going to Miami to get that little buggar Brass to tattoo me.

Last night we saw Motley Crue & Aerosmith. It was my second time seeing Motley Crue and they didn't let me down. Nikki Sixx is probably one of my favorite musicians...actually Motley Crue is one of my fave bands. I like everyone except Vince Neil. The whole time they were performing, I was hoping Mick Mars wouldn't drop over and die...he looks so fragile.

We left a little early into Aerosmith....actually on the way home the concert ended, so we caught most of it. They weren't that great. Joe Perry is a rock master and he is the sole reason why I stayed for as long as I did.

The biggest difference between the bands was Motley was really LOUD and lots of pyrotechnics. Aerosmith was a blank stage and a thing that was almost like a bubble maker that softly shot out fake snow during a boring song....I mean, I like the fire/the loud bangs & Vince Neil making out with dancers. Motley totally controlled the crowd. Aerosmith is a different speed...as in..they didn't fit with Motley Crue at all. There were really old people there and really young people there. The Aerosmith fans can't dance and seem to have super big flat asses. After I heard my fave Aerosmith song & Joe Perry sing solo, we left. Perfect end to a perfect night. So, if you ever want to see a big loud show that is entertaining and won't dissapoint..check out Motley. Rosanna admitted this time that she likes Motley Crue.

I'm watching this movie right now and this is one of those movies that I can watch every single day and not get sick of it. Chevy Chase is really funny. "I don't want to spend the holidays dead" - > one of the best lines.

Also, I just bought 2 tickets to see A Christmas Carol at the Citadel. I sure hope Rose is ok with this. I didn't talk to her about the date so...fingers crossed....she can swing it.

This is one of my fave movies to watch, King Arthur. I'll never get sick of it. Clive Owen is rad in this movie. I watched it today for the first time since I found out that Jeff is of Saxon decent. If we were in medieval times, I would be scared shitless of him.

Also, I thought I would announce that its rumoured that Freddie Ljungberg could possibly be gay. It ain't botherin' me any.

I'm REALLY tired. A full day of moving! Good thing was that the movers/appliance guys/blinds lady/cable guy were all gone by around 2 (awesome). The Telus buggar came @ 4:30 (4 hrs late). Right after that I drove back to my parents house to walk/feed the dogs. I did one more trip to the house with some things but then it felt like my body gave out. I decided to call it quits for the night...re-charge my battery and give it all I've got tomorrow. I have everything assembled that was delivered and emptied every box that was delivered. All I have to do is move whats here at my parents house. I'd say about 3 trips...its the little odds & ends... that stuff sucks to move because its tedious....I just hope that my parents stay out of my way and then everything will be fine.

I just thought I would announce that Fredrik Ljungberg is back in action now. He was injured for 6 weeks and then sidelined due to an allergic reaction to cheese (haha). I'm glad he's back...so welcome back Freddie. Don't eat anymore cheez whiz for shits sake. AKTAR SIG FREDDIE!!

I think I might have figured this dog out. I have come to the conclusion that Bacon is acting out because she is not enjoying life dans la maison de Anderson. Guess what...neither am I. I figured out that Bacon was pissing in her cage because her piss was keeping her warm....its really cold in the basement. I don't think you could understand unless you stay here. I went upstairs and looked at the thermostat and my dad said he just turned it up to 18. You can almost see your breath at night. I switched up Bacon's blanket to a fleece one and she hasn't pissed in her cage since...she just wraps herself in the blanket to keep warm. So, I retract my previous statements about her being bad because I think she has had enough and wants to have our own home. I will see how she changes once we move.

Side note : Kathy & Rosanna....my mom has offered to help you out on the weekend hahahha.

I have 2 very different dogs. Bacon, the dachsund, will voluntarily pee in her cage after she is walked....it appears that she enjoys creating things for me to clean up. This dog tests my patience to the fullest.

Popyy, the shih-tzu, is considerate. It is currently 3:18 AM. About 15 - 20 minutes ago, Poppy was making crying sounds. I got out of bed and checked on her. I lifted the thin towel covering her cage to look in on her. She looked at me as if she was uncomfortable. I told her to be quiet and try to sleep. She settles down and then I go back to bed. She starts to cry again...I get out of bed. I lift the cage thing again and she has puked. I open the cage door and she runs to the non-carpeted floor area and she pukes again. I appreciate the effort of the dog to puke on the easily cleanable surface. After she pukes she finds a place to hide because she's embarrassed. I tell her its ok. She comes out of hiding, goes to the same floor and starts to cry a little. She diarrhea's all over the floor. Again...this is completely disgusting BUT I appreciate the dog going to the easily cleanable floor. I spend about 10 minutes cleaning everything up and getting her cage cleaned. After all is said and done, I look for the dog...she's laying on the floor with big droopy eyes staring at me and wagging her tail. I told her it was ok and she walked over to me and put her head on my foot. My first dog, also a shih-tzu, would act ashamed after being sick.

To sum it up....I wish Bacon acted a little more like Poppy. It makes me jirated to see Bacon sprint to her cage...piss in it and then walks by me doing a "show dog" trot. Also, I'm unsure if I should take Poppy to the Vet....she was not only sick but she was having a bit of a difficult time walking around (shih-tzu's have bad hips).

This place makes me angry. I thought Tim Hortons was a painful experience...this place takes the cake.
